The neighbourhood of de Steppe is very suitable for horse riding. Either with a horse cart or riding a horse yourself, the many sandy roads with hardly any motorised traffic in the surroundings is ideal to go riding a horse.

Since the horse rider network, the planned routes are used a lot by riders. De Steppe is situated near the "van Mark tot Merkske"route, in between junctions 48 and 49 (company 22 on the map). On de Steppe there is limited stabling space. At the neighbours (company 20) is a more stabling space. A number of routes are for sale at de Steppe.
